அரசாங்க சேவையில் முகாமைத்துவ சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர் (MSO) சேவை தரம் III இற்கு திறந்த அடிப்படையில் ஆட்சேர்ப்பு செய்வதற்கான 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டு திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரம் மற்றும் உயர் தரத்தில் சித்தியடைந்த 18-30 வயதுடைய இலங்கை பிரஜைகள் www.doenets.lk இணையத்தளத்தினூடாக 2026 செப்டம்பர் 25 இரவு 9.00 மணி வரை இணையவழியில் விண்ணப்பிக்க முடியும். எழுத்து மூலப் பரீட்சை 2026 டிசம்பர் மாதம் நடைபெறும்.
- Salary Code: MN 02-2025 under Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025.
- Scale Structure: Rs. 48,470 – 10×540 – 11×630 – 10×1,010 – 10×1,190 – Rs. 82,800/- per month.
- Pensionability & Status: Permanent and pensionable appointment in the Combined Public Service.
- Probation & Confirmation: Subject to a three (03) year probation period. Recruits must pass the First Efficiency Bar Examination within 3 years of assumption of duties.
- Mandatory Service Term: Appointed officers must compulsorily serve at least three (03) continuous years at their first workstation before transfer requests can be considered.
Candidates must fulfill all age, educational, and district qualification terms as of September 25, 2026:
1. Age Requirement:
- Must be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as of 25.09.2026.
- Eligible birth dates: Born on or before 25.09.2008 and on or after 25.09.1996.
2. Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L): Passed in six (06) subjects with four (04) Credit passes in a single sitting. The Credit passes must include:
- Sinhala / Tamil / English Language
- Mathematics
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L): Passed in all three (03) subjects in one sitting (excluding the Common General Test and General English).
3. District Representation Basis:
Recruitment is conducted in proportion to national population census ratios by district. An applicant must qualify under one of the following criteria to claim a district quota:
- Born in the relevant district, OR
- Continuous permanent resident of the district for at least three (03) years within the five (05) years immediately preceding the closing date, OR
- Completed five (05) continuous years of secondary education in an educational institution situated in the district.
The examination consists of two compulsory written papers. Candidates may choose to answer in Sinhala, Tamil, or English, but both question papers must be attempted in the identical language medium.

- Select the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the MSOS – 2026.
- Fill out the electronic application form strictly in the English language only.
- Pay the examination fee of Rs. 600/- through the integrated online gateway via Credit/Debit card, BOC Online Banking / Flex app, or via cash teller slip at any Bank of Ceylon branch.
- Submit the digital application on or before 9:00 PM on September 25, 2026.
- Download and print a physical copy of the submitted form and payment acknowledgment receipt for verification during certificate inspections.
The Open Competitive Examination is designed for external public applicants aged 18–30 meeting direct educational criteria (A/L 3 passes and O/L 4 credits). The Limited Exam is restricted exclusively to in-service permanent public sector employees with 5 or more years of service.
Yes. Candidates may choose to take the examination in Sinhala, Tamil, or English. Both question papers must be completed in the single medium indicated in the online application.
Appointments are allocated strictly on a district-quota merit order based on aggregate scores across both papers, provided candidates achieve at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall.
