රාජ්ය සහ පළාත් රාජ්ය සේවා නිලධාරීන්ගේ දෙවන භාෂා ප්රවීණතා අවශ්යතාව සපුරාලීම සඳහා රාජ්ය භාෂා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මඟින් පවත්වනු ලබන වාචික පරීක්ෂණයේ (Oral Test) මාර්ගෝපදේශ ප්රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත. අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්ය පෙළ විභාගයේදී දෙවන භාෂාව ලෙස සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ විෂය සමත් නිලධාරීන්ට languagesdept.gov.lk හරහා වසර පුරා මාර්ගගතව අයදුම් කළ හැකිය. විභාගය ශ්රවණ කුසලතා සහ කථන/කියවීමේ කුසලතා යන අදියර දෙකකින් සමන්විත වේ.
அரச மற்றும் மாகாண அரச சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர்களின் இரண்டாவது உத்தியோகபூர்வ மொழித் தேர்ச்சித் தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக அரசகரும மொழிகள் திணைக்களத்தினால் நடாத்தப்படும் வாய்மூலப் பரீட்சைக்கான வழிகாட்டல்கள் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. க.பொ.த (சா/த) பரீட்சையில் சிங்களம் அல்லது தமிழை இரண்டாம் மொழியாக சித்தியடைந்த உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் languagesdept.gov.lk ஊடாக ஆண்டு முழுவதும் விண்ணப்பிக்க முடியும். இப்பரீட்சையானது கேட்டல் திறன் மற்றும் பேசுதல்/வாசித்தல் திறன் ஆகிய இரண்டு கட்டங்களைக் கொண்டது.

- Pre-requisite Qualification: Applicants must have already passed Sinhala or Tamil as a second language at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination.
- Tier-Appropriate Application: Officers must only register for the proficiency level (Level I, II, or III) aligned with their appointment cadre.
- Sequential Progression:
- Component 1 (Listening Assessment): Held exclusively at the Department of Official Languages, No. 341/7, Kotte Road, Rajagiriya.
- Component 2 (Speaking & Reading Assessment): Accessible only upon obtaining a minimum of 40% in Component 1. Conducted at district, provincial, or central premises.
- Final Pass Requirement: A candidate must score at least 40% in both components independently to complete the requirement.
- Bank Payment: Deposit the corresponding examination fee (Rs. 1,000 / 1,500 / 2,000) at any Bank of Ceylon (BOC) branch:

languagesdept.gov.lk, access the Oral Test application form, complete the required officer details, and enter the bank slip computer number along with the payment date. - Institutional Attestation: Print your admission card once generated. Have your signature formally certified by your Head of Department or Institution before sitting for the exam.
- Mandatory Assessment Checklist: Bring your attested admission card, original bank deposit receipt, G.C.E. O/L certificate verifying the second language pass, and your valid NIC (or passport/driving licence).
