අධ්‍යාපන, උසස් අධ්‍යාපන සහ වෘත්තීය අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ඉංග්‍රීසි හා විදේශ භාෂා ශාඛාව මඟින් ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂා අන්තර්ගත සංවර්ධනය (Content Development) සඳහා සම්පත්දායකයින්ගේ සංචිතයක් (Resource Persons' Pool) පිහිටුවීමට සුදුසුකම්ලත් නිලධාරීන් සහ ගුරුවරුන්ගෙන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත. කෙටිලැයිස්තුගත කරනු ලබන අයදුම්කරුවන් කොළඹදී පැවැත්වෙන තේරීම් පරීක්ෂණයකට මුහුණ දිය යුතු අතර, සම්පූර්ණ කරන ලද අයදුම්පත්වල මෘදු පිටපත් (Soft Copy) 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 14 දිනට පෙර විද්‍යුත් තැපෑලෙන් යොමු කළ යුතුය.

📋 Eligibility & Basic Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy the following baseline qualifications:

• Age Requirement: Candidates must be between 25 and 55 years of age.
• Academic Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in:
  • English, OR
  • English Language Teaching (ELT), OR
  • Education (TESL).
• Eligible Officer Categories:
  • Sri Lanka Teacher Educators' Service - SLTES (English) Officers
  • English In-Service Advisors (ISAs)
  • Regional English Support Centre (RESC) Resource Persons
  • Government English Language Teachers

Added Qualifications (Preferred):

• Possession of a Master's degree in English / TESOL will be treated as an added qualification.
• Documented prior experience in ELT content development or serving as a resource person will be considered an added qualification.

🎯 Selection Process & Role Scope

The Ministry will carry out the recruitment and deployment process under the following framework:

1. Screening & Shortlisting: Initial applicant applications will be evaluated based on educational credentials and experience.
2. Selection Test: Shortlisted applicants will be officially notified and called to sit for a selection test held in Colombo.
3. Training & Deployment: Finalists selected from the test will undergo specialized training in educational content development and will be deployed for curriculum and module creation assignments by the Ministry.

• Zonal Endorsement Requirement: Government English language teachers must have their application forms formally endorsed by the relevant Zonal Director of Education prior to submission.
• Submit the completed application (soft copy) via email to: englishunitmoe@gmail.com.
• Ensure submissions are sent on or before the closing deadline of September 14, 2026.

⚠️ Important Notice: Late submissions or unendorsed forms from government school teachers will not be accepted for the shortlisting evaluation. Ensure the signed soft copy is clearly scanned before sending.
