ශ්රී ලංකා ගුරු සේවයේ ජාතික හා පළාත් පාසල්වල 2-I ශ්රේණියේ සේවය කරන ගුරුවරුන් සඳහා වන 3 වන කාර්යක්ෂමතා කඩඉම් (EB-3) විභාගය ශ්රී ලංකා විභාග දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මඟින් පැවැත්වීමට ගැසට් නිවේදනය නිකුත් කර ඇත. අයදුම්පත් 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 14 වන දින රාත්රී 9.00 දක්වා doenets.lk වෙබ් අඩවිය ඔස්සේ මාර්ගගතව (Online) පමණක් ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය. මෙම විභාගය පළමු වරට පැවැත්වෙන බැවින් කිසිදු විභාග ගාස්තුවක් අය නොකෙරේ.
தேசிய மற்றும் மாகாணப் பாடசாலைகளில் தரம் 2-I இல் பணியாற்றும் இலங்கை ஆசிரியர் சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர்களுக்கான 3 வது வினைத்திறன்காண் தடைத்தாண்டல் (EB-3) பரீட்சைக்கான வர்த்தமானி அறிவித்தல் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. பரீட்சைகள் திணைக்களத்தின் உத்தியோகபூர்வ இணையத்தளமான doenets.lk ஊடாக 2026 செப்டம்பர் 14 இரவு 9.00 மணி வரை விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். இப்பரீட்சை முதன்முறையாக நடாத்தப்படுவதால் எவ்வித பரீட்சைக் கட்டணமும் அறவிடப்படமாட்டாது.
According to the Gazette notification published under the Service Minute of the Sri Lanka Teachers' Service, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Standard Cadre Requirement: The 3rd Efficiency Bar Examination must be completed within four (04) years of promotion to Grade I in Class 2 (Grade 2-I) of the Sri Lanka Teachers' Service (SLTS) or the Provincial Public Services Teachers' Service.
- Concession / Transitional Rule: Teachers who have exceeded four years since being promoted to Grade 2-I, but whose promotion date to Grade I falls after 30.06.2025, are also required and eligible to sit for this 3rd Efficiency Bar Examination to qualify for Grade I promotion.
- Special Needs Candidates: Candidates requiring special examination facilities must state this in the online portal and submit certified medical proofs directly along with a printed copy of the application.

Passing Benchmark: Candidates must score an aggregate of at least 40% marks across Paper I and Paper II combined.
- Online Submission: Visit the official portal www.doenets.lk, navigate to "Our Services" > "Online Applications - Recruitment / EB Exams".
- Language of Entry: The online application form must be filled out in the English language only.
- Print Duplicate Hard Copies: Upon successful submission, download the generated PDF and print two (02) copies.
- Attestation & Endorsement: Fill in the handwritten sections, place your signature, and have your signature attested by your Head of School / relevant officer.
- Personal File Copy: One attested copy must be certified by your Zonal Director of Education and placed into your official personal file at the Zonal Education Office.
- Personal Custody Copy: Retain the second signed and certified copy securely in your personal possession to present when called for inspection or admission verification.
No examination fee is charged. Because this Efficiency Bar Examination is being conducted for the first time under the new service minute amendments, candidates sit free of charge.
No. Requests to modify the requested examination center town or chosen language medium (Sinhala, Tamil, or English) will not be entertained under any circumstances after submission.
Admissions will be issued online via doenets.lk, with SMS notifications sent to applicants. Results will be published for direct download online and forwarded directly to the Ministry of Education and Provincial Education Departments for grade promotion processing.
