🎓 Scope of Verification & Eligibility Criteria
The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has initiated this verification process to streamline and regularize upcoming executive-level promotions into Grade I of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS).
- Target Officer Group: SLAS Grade II officers who will become eligible to apply for Class I advancement with effective promotion dates of 01 September 2027 and 09 November 2027.
- Statutory Benchmark: The verification applies strictly to postgraduate degree qualifications acquired under Section 13.2.(a)(i) of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service Minute promulgated under Extraordinary Gazette No. 1842/2 dated 23 December 2013.
- Mandatory Verification Records: Eligible officers must furnish duly certified true copies of both their degree certificate and the comprehensive official academic transcript issued by the awarding university.
