Mahaweli Authority Project Staff Vacancies 2026
The Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka (MASL), operating under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation, has invited applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for 116 project staff positions on a full-time contractual basis. These recruitments are for the Maduru Oya Right Bank Development Project (2026–2032) and the Kivul Oya Development Project (2026–2031). Eligible candidates must submit their applications via registered post on or before October 29, 2026.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria & General Conditions
- Age Limit: Applicants must be below 64 years of age as of the closing date.
- Essential Skills: Proficiency in English, computer literacy, and familiarity with government rules and regulations are mandatory.
- Preferred Experience: Prior work experience in foreign-funded development projects in Sri Lanka will be considered an added advantage.
- Public Sector Applicants: Candidates currently employed in Government Departments or State Corporations must forward their applications through their respective Head of Department or Institution.
- Governing Salary Circulars: Recruitments and remuneration packages will strictly comply with Management Services Department (MSD) Circular No. 02/2026 and Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025.
