Valuer Vacancies 2026 – Sri Lanka Valuation Service
The Public Service Commission has issued an official notice calling for applications from eligible officers for recruitment to 22 vacant positions for the post of Valuer of Grade III Class I of the Sri Lanka Valuation Service on the basis of experience and competency for 2026. Eligible candidates must submit their applications through their Head of Department by registered post on or before October 19, 2026.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following official eligibility conditions as of 18th September 2026:
- Must be an Assistant Valuer of Grade I Class II of the Sri Lanka Valuation Service.
- Must have passed the Efficiency Bar Examination of Grade I Class II related to Office-based / Field Officer Category II.
- Should not be subject to any disciplinary penalty under Public Service Commission Circular No. 01/2020 as of the gazette notification date.
💰 Salary Scale & Terms of Service
- Salary Code: SL-1-2025
- Salary Scale: Rs. 82,150 – 10 x 2,400 – 8 x 2,940 – 17 x 3,900 – 195,970 (as per Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025).
- Terms of Service: Permanent and pensionable post. Selected officers will be subject to an acting period of one year and are required to contribute to the Widows' / Widowers' and Orphans' Pension Scheme.
📝 Selection Criteria & Marking Scheme
Recruitment will be carried out on the basis of merit and seniority marks determined through an Eligibility Assessment Interview (Total: 100 Marks):

• Additional Qualifications: Postgraduate Degree (12 marks) or Postgraduate Diploma (06 marks) in Real Estate Management & Valuation / Estate Management. • Vocational Qualifications: Membership of Institute of Valuers of Sri Lanka (05 marks), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (05 marks), or recognized courses (up to 03 marks). • Performance Appraisal: Last 5 years' appraisal (Excellent: 10 marks, Ordinary: 07 marks, Satisfactory: 05 marks). |
| 3. Interview Performance | 10 Marks | Assessment of professional competency during the interview. |

- Send the completed application package via Registered Post to reach the target authority on or before October 19, 2026.
Applications received after October 19, 2026, or those submitted without the recommendation of the Head of Department will be rejected without further notice.
