கிழக்கு மாகாண அரச சேவை ஆணைக்குழுவினால் காணி நிர்வாகத் திணைக்களத்தின் குடியேற்ற உத்தியோகத்தர் (Colonization Officer) தரம் III பதவிக்கு ஆட்சேர்ப்பு செய்வதற்கான திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சை – 2026 அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 13 வெற்றிடங்கள் நிரப்பப்படவுள்ளதுடன், விவசாய டிப்ளோமா தகைமை கொண்ட கிழக்கு மாகாண வதிவிடமுடைய 18-30 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட தகுதியானவர்கள் ppscep.lk இணையத்தளத்தினூடாக 2026 செப்டம்பர் 14 முதல் ஒக்டோபர் 05 இரவு 10.00 மணி வரை இணையவழியில் விண்ணப்பிக்க முடியும்.
Candidates must meet both educational and professional criteria by the closing date on 05 October 2026:
1. Basic Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L): Passed in six (06) subjects in one sitting with credit passes including a language (Sinhala/Tamil/English), Science, and Mathematics.
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L): Passed in three (03) subjects in one sitting, with at least two (02) subjects selected from Science, Mathematics, Technology, or Agriculture streams (excluding General English and the Common General Test).
2. Professional Qualifications (At least one requirement):
- A two-year Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized School of Agriculture; OR
- A Diploma in Agriculture from Hardy Technical Institute (Hardy ATI, Ampara); OR
- A two-year Diploma in Agriculture awarded by a government-approved institution; OR
- Any equivalent qualification accredited by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).
- Age Eligibility: Applicants must be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as of October 05, 2026.
- Mandatory Residency Rules:
- Candidates must have continuously resided within the Eastern Province (Trincomalee, Batticaloa, or Ampara Districts) for at least one (01) year immediately preceding the closing date; OR
- A candidate who has married an individual with at least three (03) continuous years of residency in the Eastern Province and subsequently relocated to the province may apply (subject to official verification via Grama Niladhari and Divisional Secretariat endorsements).
The competitive examination consists of two written papers. Candidates must obtain at least 40% in each individual paper to be considered for interview merit lists:
