📋 Comprehensive Eligibility & Service Criteria

Applications are open strictly to confirmed public officers who satisfy all criteria as of August 28, 2026:

1. Age Eligibility:

• Applicants must be not more than 53 years of age as of August 28, 2026.
• Eligible birth date: Born on or after August 28, 1973.

2. Educational Qualifications & Service Standing (Either Route A or B):

Route A (With Degree):

• A degree awarded by a UGC-recognized university, an institution established by an Act of Parliament, or recognized under Section 25A of the Universities Act; AND
• A minimum of five (05) years of active, satisfactory permanent and pensionable service in the Public Service or Provincial Public Service drawing salaries under salary code MN-2-2025 (or higher MN codes) or SL-1-2025.

Route B (Service Experience Only):

• A minimum of ten (10) years of active, satisfactory permanent and pensionable service under salary code MN-2-2025 (or higher MN codes) or SL-1-2016 without a degree requirement.

3. General Conditions & Attempt Restrictions:

• Sitting Limit: A candidate is permitted a maximum of three (03) attempts under the Limited Competitive stream.
• Disciplinary Standing: Must have earned all salary increments in the 5 years immediately preceding the qualification date and have an unblemished record free of disciplinary punishments as per PSC Circular No. 01/2020.
