💰 Salary Structure & Benefits

Details regarding salary scales and statutory benefits as specified in the official announcement:

Operational Salary Scale (U-EX 2 (II)): Rs. 113,690 – 8x2,400 ; 8x2,940 – Rs. 156,410/- p.m. (Fully operative from January 1, 2027; 2026 salary placement adheres to UGC Circular No. 02/2025 (i)).
Allowances: Entitled to standard government-approved allowances.
Universities Provident Fund (UPF): Appointee contributes 10%; University contributes 7%.
Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF): University contributes 3%.
University Pension Scheme: University contributes 8%.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Candidates applying for the post must satisfy the following entry requirements:

Educational Qualifications

A Degree with First or Second Class Honours from a recognized University; OR
Professional qualifications approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) upon recommendation of OUSL.

Experience Requirements

At least seven (07) years of experience, preferably in Public Relations, Managerial, or Administrative capacities, with at least three (03) years at a senior level.

Age Limit & Special Skills

Age Limit: Not more than 45 years. (Candidates exceeding the stipulated age limit may be considered for contract-basis appointment in accordance with government regulations).
Special Skills: A proven track record in communication, public relations, and journalism. Multi-language proficiency (in two or three languages) is considered an added advantage.
